Our marine story

From Lekki Deep Sea Port to the energy corridor

Marine reclamation and construction activity — and demand for waterfront property — have grown rapidly along the Lagos coast.

To meet the need for dedicated, economical transport and marine construction vessels, Bolpex entered into strategic alliances with several marine vessel owners. This equipment has helped us secure key marine projects, and we continue to support work in the Dangote Lekki energy corridor and offshore areas.

We can access over 35 marine vessels — dredgers, landing craft, transport barges, crane barges, spud and jack-up barges, tugboats and motorboats — at very short notice, supported by our Port Harcourt-based Logistics and Maintenance Support Centre.

IMCA-qualified divers

All underwater work is carried out by IMCA-qualified divers, properly supervised and supported by certified decompression chambers and diving stations.

We work with Kipo Subsea Ltd, a marine engineering and construction firm renowned for specialist subsea marine cable laying and underwater diving for the oil & gas sector and marine developments.
